September 1st…here already so we will soon be heading for autumn.

So best make the most of the summer colours we still have both in our gardens and the countryside.

  1. I’d love to see such a bouquet on my table any day, David. Thank you. Very colourful. Today the meteorological autumn has begun. The humid heat of yesterday has gone and a fresh wind blows more oxygen so I can breathe again. My oleanders were affected by this crazy weather with way too much rain. We even had whirlwinds, almost little tonado’s.
    Autumn is my season. It’s harvest time and Country File was full of it last Sunday. I particularly like the item on the ancient wheats. Super! Harvest is celebrated in all religions. Have a great harvest time you all.

    1. It may well be the meteorological change to Autumn…and indeed there are some autumnal signs starting to show but I will wait till the Equinox on the 21st before accepting that Autumn is on the way….we still have to have summer(-:
