    1. Thank you……Holy Island has a number of ‘favourite’ places for me, surprising for such a small island. The Castle is obvious to all visitors but this image is just off the tourist path so is a bit different…a little softer than the rocky frontage

    1. I hope to bring you a few more in 2016. When I started posting these on a Wednesday I thought it would only be for a few weeks….but the more I think the more I realise that there are so many “favourite” places. Must run out someday!

    1. I will let you into a secret. Whilst at one time the site was a defensive one…..the building you see today is best described as an ornate Country House built for comfort! But who cares it looks the part. Have a good Holiday
