The massif windows of Marienkirche*, Rostock, Germany
Built originally in the 13th century, and survivor (just) of several conflicts including two World Wars, these windows spread a heavenly glow over the nave.
A much more humble church with its own distinctive window casts its own light over the ancient scripture….

Jenkin Chapel at Saltersford, Cheshire England
Images can be deceptive as this Cheshire Chapel with its simplistic window looks much older, yet was only built in 1733, from monies raised by this small agricultural community. I say only built in 1733 but I guess that I still along time ago!
I hope they shed a little bit of heavens glow upon your Christmas Eve.
