Just Married……..

There I was, along with several hundred other tourists, trying to photograph the narrow flower packed street of wooden houses in Stavanger….when with great purpose, through the crowd strode the newly weds. I have no idea who they are, seemingly they had just left the ceremony and were on their way to the Reception…they were followed by many guests but their stride could not match the pace of the “Happy Couple”……and I do hope they live happily ever after.
So there you have it a very quick shot as they past…..Just a suggestion for DP Weekly Photo Challenge – One Love, See what others have submitted on this link :- https://dailypost.wordpress.com/photo-challenges/one-love/

We may only hope he isn’t working within the oil business which have lost approximately 50 000 jobs this year –
mostly related to the city of Stavanger!

Same story over here…..and yet our politicians insist we have never had it so good, something I have heard once before and it didn’t turnout well.

Never, ever, trust a politician! You’ll definitely regret it!

Very good advice. Thank you. It’s qute international. Must be the job itself that makes people start to lie.

Once they have secured a seat in the ‘house’/National Assembly, they’ll say/promise anything as long it will prolong/retain their present position!
Og course, they are all aware that ‘political recollection’ is something ot the shortest things in life.
I think we all should start taking notes, copy interviews and save newspaper articles for the next election!?

Huiswaarts! To Naarden. Thank you. Lovely scow as well, David. We call it a ‘vlet’. Because of the flat bottom I believe.

Naarden is one of our old towns that used to be a fortress at the same time. You can see the bastions. It’s a sweet little town. Especially the old centre of town.
