Today is the 90th Birthday
of Queen Elizabeth II.
Lots of celebrations are planned and I guess that after the next few days of festivities and Royal engagements that the Queen may we be secretly wishing she was able to enjoy some quiet down time in her favourite summer retreat of Balmoral Castle.
But I rather suspect that it will be business as usual for this busy Monarch who’s duties never seems to stop.

Getting to 90 is an achievement in its own right….makes me laugh when I hear these young city types saying how hard they work – not sure they would stay the pace demanded by the Queen.
