Beesands, Sunny Dale, Start Bay, Devon
Yesterday and today Monday are part of our May Bank Holiday weekend. The trouble is no one has taken the trouble to tell the weather that holidays require a modicum of warmth and lots of sunshine…what do we get rain, wind and temperatures ranging between 5 and 9c
One day and I hope not to far off we will start to have warm spring and then ‘proper’ summer weather, calm seas and a sandy beach.
2nd May

And we’re getting predictions for a record warm May down here…

Yet bigger sigh … we like rain here. People in the UK think we’re a bit strange because we’re not upset when it rains. We are a bit strange, but that’s not necessarily the reason. 😉

It is just that at times you get too much of a good thing 🙂

Forecast for May are WARM temperatures, David. Bite the bullet for a few days. It IS coming, also to England! Although the pretty Blue Bells won’t be liking it very much, I am afraid. They will not live long enough. Your photo of Devon is great. I believe it predicts the warmer weather approaching. Enjoy!!
