It isn’t All Black and White

The Feathers Hotel, Ludlow, Shropshire
This Tudor Style Half Timbered building dates back to 1619 and is one of nearly 500 other listed buildings in this historic Shropshire town.
Perhaps best know of all of these buildings because your eyes do not fool you. There are few vertical lines and the whole building seems to be toppling down towards you. Certainly intriguing and shows little sign after all these years that it is ever likely to collapse.
This Weeks Topic, set by Cee, is Open…just so long as it is Black and White. Perhaps I cheat but this building is Black and White in its construction, so little conversion was needed, I just left the events board in colour to emphasis the tones.
And here it is in colour, not a great deal of difference

Even to those of us who live in and amongst old buildings in England, these at Ludlow are spectacularly different. 🙂
