It is always lots cleaner than here in The Netherlands just North of Rotterdam and the heavy industry in the Botlek Area and Europort. Which is are South West from me and from there most of the winds come. With NW and Northern winds the ait is indeed much cleaner.

Yes, I know! But you know, we’re joking about this saying: ‘If it wasn’t for Britain, we’d have perfect weather all year round. The majority of our winds are coming in from the SW!
Winds from the North do happen, Then it’s mostly sunny, but it might be icy cold (depending on the time of the year)
