Some very Sad News

ss

For regular followers many will know that the ‘collective’ We…. referred to my wife Jean.  Sadly on the 15th June, Jean had a Cerebral Haemorrhage, one can say it was relatively painless and mercifully quick, Jean knew little about those final moments.

As some will have known, we have been away on holiday. The events occurred at our Hotel in Isla, Cantabria. Spain.  Paramedics and Doctor who were on site within  minutes, worked committedly, but  there would be no way back.  I am now back in the UK…. Jean is safely at rest in a Funeral Parlour. and will be repatriated by air later this week.

Because we planned to be away there are still some post to come over the week and into next… I hope none seem incongruous

  5. Hi David.

I am so sorry and shocked to hear that you have lost your Jean so suddenly. You and your family are very much in my thoughts.

Over the years that I have had the pleasure and privilege to spend time with and get to know Jean she has been so kind, thoughtful and a source of knowledge about the world around us, especially when it comes to birds. And Jean always enjoyed sharing your adventures around the world. You must have so many amazing memories.

  6. David, I have just seen this post, and am so very sad to hear of your loss. I may sound trite, but a sudden CH is a pretty quick and painless way to depart. My thoughts are with you, and know you will have many, many memories of your life together that you can treasure. I send my condolences to you and your family
