A change in the weather today and a change more suited to the Moors of the Dark Peak area of Derbyshire. Cloud never cleared but a little sun did try to put in an appearance……
The heather and bracken covered slopes well defined in the sinking evening light as seen from Burbage Rocks with Higger Tor to the right, Carl Wark (an Iron Age Fort) to its left and Winyards Nick on the horizon to the left.
November is in my opinion one of the best times for the moors, cold as today was, soon snow and frosts will change the scene to one even more wintery.
