First…..Last….. and a business opportunity!

Crab-Apple

I has been a odd spring to say the least.  Lots of flowers and blossom were early, blossom in particular put on a fine show…..but then late sharp frosts then high winds cleared the trees.  The Crab Apple above seems to have been lucky, they are just starting to blossom, the first this year,  bring a fresh colour and sent to the hedgerows.

Last-of-the-Bluebells

Bluebells in this part of the country are on there last legs, There never was that deep carpet of colour this season but even so they have struggled on and it is sad to see them go…. till next year.

Ladybirds are starting to be active and warm themselves in the sun on nettle leaves whilst the much maligned Grey Squirrel enjoys a feast of nuts that some well wisher has left.  It is a shame that it has been such a dominant specie vanquishing our native Red.

NOW FOR THAT BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY

Mustard

It was once said that if you wanted to make money then ‘Mustard’ was the business to be in………after all it wasn’t what we consumed that made their fortunes but what we left on the side of the plate!

Now I have been looking for an equally as good an opportunity and think I have found it.

On recent walks I have been amazed at the number of single gloves we have found on the trails and footpaths.  Not a walk goes by without some glove turning up.  On one walk last week it was so regular that we started to count the finds (sad isn’t it!)….we stopped when we got to 10.

There never was a pair that matched and most were right handed gloves, just the occasional left hand abandoned.

Glove

So here it is the opportunity of a lifetime and you can all jump on the band wagon….GLOVE MANUFACTURING and RETAILING.  With so many gloves lost and never reunited with their owners we must be able to make a fortune in supplying new gloves….with a constant need for replacements.  Just a thought, lets get organised for next winter!
