Scale can simply be just a case of objects near and those further away. It can also be a case of LARGE versus small. Each gives a mental clue that can be identified by the viewer. But I guess that the best clue is one that we all instantly recognise and can identify with…and that is people, the instant Scale maker.
I hope this image by including all the above elements does give an idea of Scale.
