Lindisfarne Priory, Holy Island, Northumberland
Built over 1400 years ago, without the aid of modern spirit levels or Computer Aided Design, Lindisfarne Priory is a tribute to those early stone masons who could create massif structures of lines, angles and a few curves out of hand hued stone.
