Saint David’s Day…..and Spring is here

March the 1st and for those in Wales it is their Patron Saint’s Day….Saint David’s Day.

So what could be more appropriate than for our first Daffodils to burst into bloom to celebrate the day and the start of Spring.

Elsewhere in the woods those other early harbingers of Spring are also showing signs that new life is just a few days away, yes Catkins and Pussy Willow are now showing their intentions to the world.
