An Autumn Dawn in the Woods…..

Things don’t always go to plan…events sometimes take over.  So instead of the planned day in the countryside a quick mornings walk in our local woods was all that could be managed.  I say all, for in truth on a glorious October autumn morning, you really couldn’t ask for anything better…….

The early morning sunshine did bring everything to life with a rich glow over the golden/brown leaves of autumn.  Autumn would appear to be well and truly here….apart from one area of the woods. 

Looking along this line of old bent Beech tees you could mistake these shots for early ‘spring’…..

But turn about and the woodland scene is again very different and very autumnal……..

A very quick walk but full of enjoyment and leisure…..enough to top up the batteries for all the Saturday tasks that always seem to multiply!
