After the misty start the sun did manage to make a very welcome appearance with the woods taking on yet another renewed lease on life as illustrated by this young Oak resplendent in its golden coat……
The Sycamore show that they will not be outdone for glory as this leafy trail suggests……Oh! to tarry on the bench for awhile and just enjoy
I suspect it will not belong before the whole mood of the woodland changes to a more permanent dark of winters gloom…but for now it still shines bright…
Just a thought….
I wonder why that once a old utility building had had its windows bricked up to deter folk from entering…that it should only then become a target for Graffiti. It has stood empty for years with no trouble now we await the arrival of more artists….what really was the trigger?
It’s so nice to see that your autumn colors are persisting and that you are enjoying them so much. I’m having to share mine as flashbacks!

Just a little sun…some warm colours and it does lift ones spirits.

Hello there, I was browsing through autumn photos and I had to stop and comment on that magnificent tree up there! First of all, it looks like it is made of gold. Second, I can see how you use the contrast of light and shade in your photos for a special kind of beauty. And there is a subtle green effect in the tree which is just enough to give it some diversity and curious blends of colours and textures. Really the way that you use the light in your work is very creative and special.
In the photo with the leaves and stream, I also notice that little hint of purple in the water, it’s magical.
