Dark, dank and could be miserable…….but for the time being the fallen autumn leaves do add some colour and brightness to cheer this November day…
But for the most part the trees are now bare and into their winter mode whilst the fallen leaves are starting to disintegrate underfoot…
No takers for the woodland bench this morning not even with the offer an autumnal scene to contemplate……
You could of course sit and plan your Christmas list OR is that a bad idea!
20th November
It’s really an unusually colourful November – at least in my parts of the world, and it seems in yours too. Great images, capturing the last colours of the season. My favourite is the second picture. I like the feeling of solitude it arouses in me.

A strange year as far as seasonal time and change. Autumn came late but is still with us to some extent. But there are worries. Berries for the winter birds are few, insects also appear down in numbers so if we have a harsh winter (which some predict) it could be a problem for incoming flocks of over wintering birds. Add the tree fungal death problems and we ave to wonder…what next?
