It is only January 8th yet I feel I have lived a life time this 2013 already, the desk and playing catch up after the seasonal break took its toll. So this morning was the first this year that I could take a more leisurely walk through our woods. So far the year has proved to be grey, dull and damp so just a little dawn light through the trees was welcome…..
That hint of brightness wasn’t to last for very long and soon the dark grey replaced what had been that ray of light..that ray of hope. the water on the lake becoming a dark pool of warning that winter is yet to run its course…
Nor have I found that illusive solution as to where time vanishes…..2012 went by like an Express Train and so far 2013 is going the same way. But if you take the positive view….then spring and summer cannot be far away.

Hi,
Very nice photos, dull day or not it looks like a lovely place to go for a walk.
As I get older the time does seem to go a lot faster, 2012 did seem to go very quickly.

Probably right…it is an age thing – or so we have been told. But that doesn’t explain why all these youngsters also complain that they never have enough time. If only they know!!
