I do that myself sometimes. Particularly with sunsets taken in 20 mm and where the sunset itself only takes up half the picture. It’s a matter of croping, but sometimes it’s not sharp enough to sustain such treatment 🙂

This is delightful, david, thank you! And I particularly love those wispy clouds. Does it snow there….I wonder what it would look like, if it did snow, on say a bright, sunny, wintry day? Hmmm…..

Yep it does snow. For January it was unusual for this area not to be covered in snow but the mild winter has now gone and we have some snow. Not sure I will get back to this location whilst it is about but will see. Thanks for stopping by and your comments.

Oh, david, this looks like a summer photo! Still, it would be interesting to see it with snow on it; I think it would be more minimalist in its feel and look, then, than it does now! Cheers to you, 🙂
