The Day that didn’t …………Wake up

Heavy snow may well be forecast for tomorrow.  The frost that arrived is still with us  but today it was supposed to be dry and bright.   Well at midday the sun did try its best to break through the cloud cover but with little success….

Yes, 12 noon and just a hint of a warm glow from behind the Oak but little warmth to melt the frost.  Not that I am complaining as it was still a great  walk for me, and of course my two dogs to enjoy, a refreshing break from the desk.

But even that short burst of sun soon disappeared leaving us with a milky sky which I suppose is the forerunner of the snows to come……
