Don’t Laugh…..but

Don’t laugh at me…….but one day I am going to be a Daffodil….in fact a host of Golden Daffodils….

First-Daffs

Well it is a start isn’t it, our first woodland daffodils have bent there heads and will soon open out into Golden Trumpets and before long this corner of the woods will be a carpet of welcoming yellow.

Yesterday we had gales and heavy snow falls but by this morning as you can see little of the snow remains, with luck that may be the last for this winter…

And yes, there was just a touch of sunshine to lift the spirits, though it did little to lift the temperatures!

  1. I’m afraid our trumpets are rather behind yours. The tallest shoots are still only a few inches, and they’re just starting to peek out of the new snow again. Nice to see yours so far advanced!
