Snow continues to remind us that winter is still with us, it continues to fall. This morning there is just a very tiny hint that spring is inside our trees and plants just waiting to burst out…..a glimmer of hope
A Twisted Hazel dangles catkins precariously on young tendrils, the snow and ice doing its best to loosen their hold. But there above the catkins you can see a rose pink tip of blossom poking is way from a new leave bud…..![]()
Hang on in there little bud…Spring is on its way!

It is glimmer of hope. I love the catkins too..This morning, I watched the last news from yesterday and my mouth fell open: more than a meter of snow…?? Good Heavens…

wow. After having a few days of 80 degrees, it dropped to 48 today. Go figure, but at least we don’t have snow 🙂
