Maybe, yes just maybe this is the weekend when spring arrives in our part of the U.K. Under the Beech and Sycamore the Wood Anenome have, literally from nowhere, burst into life creating a white carpet….
Even though we had a blustery snow shower followed a little later by Hail Stones the temperature is more seasonally warm. Elsewhere there are more welcome indicators that “spring has sprung”. From Rowan to Magnolia, to Daffodils, Aubrietia and Saxifrage even the humble Pansies giving new life and colour and are now starting to grace the woods and gardens more prolifically….
New life is staring to appear in the Ornamental Fish Pond though gazing into the waters it is apparent that the fish are still lying low keeping warm in the deeps!……
The well manicured Practice Green of the Golf Course takes on a proud spring glow……….
So with a little luck on the weather front we may well be able to say this is the weekend that Spring DID ARRIVE.

So beautiful photographs and flowers, dear David. This year spring makes us to miss her, in here same too, we are going between up and down temperatures… Last weekend we really felt the cold weather, the heating system and also fireplace weren’t enough to get warm… But dear David, they say that the summer would be very hot this year, this makes me worry now. Anyway, I hope and wish SPRING is there this time and have a nice weekend, Thanks and Love, nia

Ever more hopeful. One of these days (weeks?), it’s bound to kick in for good!
