Sigh… stunning, David. Here too the autumn colours are now showing more and more. Finally, also the oak trees. They were haning on to their green leaves till last week! In the sunshine, it’s a gloriouos sight. But even then your photos are so stunning. Seems you are getting better each time. 🙂

Yes it is a strange autumn. Colours have now appeared on our native trees much later than usual. The disappointment is that it hasn’t combined with the ‘exotics’ that added even more colour…they lost there leaves weeks ago. Add to that some woods that I walk regularly where the leaf cover was still green and full yesterday are bare this morning…one good frost put paid to them.
