Winter Jasmine now bursting with bright yellow florets a sure sign that spring is on the way. Temperatures are above average and so far we have seen little of winter. But we have been very much aware that it is far too soon to be really thinking that spring is here. To reinforce that thought the Meteorological Office is predicting some bright days for the weekend but also a rapid fall in temperature with high probability of snow to come in the days ahead.
So we will enjoy these early touches of spring whilst we can.

I see it. Thanks for pointing it out. So beautiful.
By the way, David…. you contaminated me. I am counting lost gloves too now. 😀
Wednesday a ladies woollen right hand glove and today same colour, same make, a gent’s glove. Also right hand. But two totally different locations. Is this glove spotting and counting curable?? 😀

No it is with you for life! As they weather has been so mild here I think the gloves have gone into hiding that or as most glove owners here have already lost one they probably think it not worth buying a new pair. But I still keep my eyes wide open for the next one.

A strange winter there, strange here. We had 12 inches of snow last night so that makes almost two feet in two days! Nice to see your spring pictures!!!

Strong colour David works well against the black backdrop – did you isolate it or shoot against a backdrop?

I always have a bit of background (a black folding Frisbee actually)

Did that blossom out in your garden already? Will it tolerate/survive a cold snap, even with snow?

Yep, it is and flourishing by the day. No, I guess a real frost, let alone snow, will stop it in its tracks even though its a winter variety. Spring bulbs are also now well through so we will just have to wait ands see what more twists nature has up her sleeve!
