Autumn comes to the Garden

It has been all to easy to recount the seasonal changes in the woods but that same change has been taking place in our gardens. They are still full of September colours, some blooms just starting to reach there very best. But for some the ravages of time and weather are starting to show. On a warm September day like today there can be no better place to sit and relax than in an English Garden

The next best thing of course is to take a peak over the neighbours garden wall….

  1. I so love the Sedum and the asters… For me the best of the Autumn flowers . Mext year, when I can find organic soil and seeds or little plants, I will have them once again. Organic, as watching a bumblebee die of the poison it has eaten, coming from the cheap plants in the shops and market places, was enough for me to want organic… At least I will not be part of the great killing that takes place due to the Monsanto’s…
