It’s Cold….but no Snow

Morning at Allestree Lake, Derbyshire

No snow as yet….and even though the early morning temperature was -2c, the sun certainly lifted the mercury a little and no ice had formed on the lake. A wonderful December day even the vapour trails seemed to enhance the sky.

  3. It really doesn’t look very cold, David. Perhaps it’s due to the warm colors of fall?
    Over here we have 1/2 inch of snow by now, but it’s far more once you get up in the mountain areas above
    2000 feet.
