Friday (yesterday) and after what has been a damp, grey week it was great to have sunshine with which to welcome the day. Weak as the suns rays where it still emphasised the stark dark trunks of the now leafless Beech trees.
Whilst the sun may be weak in intensity it has that added winter glow that seems to warm the darker corners
As the temperatures started to drop towards zero there were no takers for this woodland bench…

At this time of the year any day that is not dark grey and wet is a bonus…..and as I have said many times before….Sunshine does put a smile on everyone’s face.

Beautiful photographs. I particular like the one with the bench. The leaves aren’t even stirred. Lonely but hopeful with the blue sky backdrop!
