The mist hung low with the just hint of a warm glow over the park this morning. The low temperatures ensured that the snow we received on Friday evening still lingers, crisp but not quite even after all the footfall over the past few days.

Len and his dogs thought it best to get the days walkies in before all the kids, with sledges and snow boards, get out of their beds and cause havoc……

By the time I reached the Lake the mist had vanished, yet despite temperature remaining below zero the Lake remained un-frozen….just dark and rather forbidding in appearance.

If these temperatures remain it cannot be long before it ices over….
