The arrival of March is a sure indicator that the worst of Winter must be behind us…
Surely March says with a very loud voice “That Spring is Here”
P.S. A short apology to all our Welsh friends. March1st is of course Saint David’s Day, the Patron Saint of Wales. So by rights and tradition the above flower should really be their National flower the Daffodil. At the moment our Daffodils are still in hiding in corners of our garden waiting for temperatures to rise.

Today is one of those magical days when you do think that we have turned that corner into Spring….However our weather forecasters tell us that we have gales, heavy rain and in places snow over the next few days….We will see.

There’s always hope, David, and the snow that came today has already thawed out!
Tomorrow is another day coming!

I remember as a child that magical moment every year when I saw the first crocus peeking out of the snow…
