First Blossom……
March is on the wain as is the moon but at last the colours of Spring are starting to spread their charms. Days are warmer but surprisingly the nights seem colder and in fact we have had more morning frosts this month than over the whole winter….mind you they soon dissipate in the morning sun.
Whilst Blossom is appearing the leaves have yet to show, woodlands still bare and not even a sheen of green to indicate Springs progress. But colourful days like today indicate otherwise and yep….we have turned that seasonal corner.

And WHERE is that corner? We woke to snowstorm and 10 inches of ssnow this morning. Spring is put on hold for the moment. There’s gonna be another week with winter!!!

It most certainly will, David, but all these low pressures are coming from somewhere! And I know where from! 🙂

Agree with Seenorway but no snow. Only rain and more wind. Coming from the West. Knowing that, I also know that most of that rain will have fallen on Britain. See, I learned something from Alan Titchmarch in his program about nature in Britain. It’s so diverse and green because of all the rain. When it comes, hang in there David. I enjou your photos and feel just a wee bit warmer. 😀

Ahhhh – I am so envious of the beauty of Spring…we are still under cold weather and rainy skies. I can smell the blossoms from your pictures, David. Wonderful.

It comes to all…in its own time. And I guess most folk are like me rather impatient with the seasons and weather (-:
