Far Too Wet for Fishermen…
Here in the U.K. we do seem obsessed with the weather. It is also true that this Winter and early Spring have not followed the usual pattern. In fact if we are truthful the seasonal weather has been rather kind to us.
So I guess it had to change and it did. Yesterday rain arrived with a vengeance …..as the headline states it was even too wet for the Fishermen let alone the Ducks all well out of sight.
30th March

That’s ‘March’ for you! But now it’s just abolut over! ‘April’ somehow seems a bit more promising?

Ahh, rain. Yep, we got it too. It came from the West. Afraid you got the most, David, but don’t be too sad. There was more than enough left for us. 🙂
It’s the second spring storm we are having right now. I am sure it blows pretty stiff where you are too. At least, it does in Hunmanby on the North Sea coast. Just under Filey. Just spoke to my friend and she will stay indoors as long as this gale rages. Being 91 this is a good decision I think. I am staying home as well. With arthritis in both knees cycling is just too much and walking to the shops too. There is enough here to ‘survive’. 🙂 What beats me it that these expensive thermo double glazed windows are ‘leaking’ on the hinges. Even with all of them shut there still comes in a lot of wind (draft). Anyhow…. when it works like it should be according to my late mum, after this one just one more before spring can really start. 3 Gales in spring and 3 in late autumn she used to say. Anyway, let’s hope it will blow over soon (if you pardon the expression). Have a great day David. Pet for your dogs.

Dogs well and truly patted……I would also get those windows looked at. No point in expensive Double Glazing that leaks and is draftee. Spring is on the way…honest (-:

We could use some of that rain over here–I think that’s just what our daffs are waiting for.

Beautiful photo of a rainy day, never mind the wind and water drops this is a very descriptive image. Lots of mood and emotion.
