Winter on the Moor
Bad weather has been the norm for far too long….. so on the occasion when the sun does deem to come out to play it just has to be an opportunity to take and get out into the fresh air.
Pine and Birch sheltering just below the skyline are a contrast in colour and style but just look at how green the grass remains proof indeed that here in mid January we have still not had a cold frost not even on the moors in our part of middle England.
Whilst the open moor was invigorating it was the walk up through the woodland that was the most exhilarating and refreshing and a great way to work up a healthy appetite
The advance Forecast is not good a real mix of rains, gales and snow so may be the real winter is on its way.
