I don’t know, David? These days it’s very nice to have something to hold onto if a visit on the roof is necessary.
I’d feel a lot safer, especially going back down!

I do try, but when the snow reaches 150 cm, I’d better get ssom down before thawing. Then it gets 3 times as heavy.
But I get help when I can!

It is a good idea to be able to get up on the roof in case there is too much snow on it. You will want to remove the snow from the roof before the roof will collapse. On the other side is a ladder that big presumeable not for this little hut but for tree felling purposes or so? The thing is even longer than the whole cabin!
