Flippant Friday….. Piglet in the Window

Pigglet-in-Window

Spotted this rotund Piglet in the farmhouse window…..   Gazing out on the wide world beyond the glass,  Piglet had a smile on his face, but I interpreted that as a plea for escape.

One day we will all be free to escape. .till then…

Flippant Friday……. Being Stalked

Easdale Lumig

The Eyes Have it!

Those sharp, bright, staring eyes remined me of the the famous Poem by William Blake – “Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright“.

His description still seems as valid to day as when it was written back in 1794.  Now that alone is worth thinking about.  Not that many people would have even seen an image of a Tiger when his Poem was published.

This little fellow, those eyes, his pose reminded me of his much bigger cousin….  he didn’t move as we passed, no hair on his lush thick coat twitched, not sure he breathed……  but those eye’s followed our every step.

No Tiger, but there is still danger out there so….

Moody Monday….. Could be a Wet Washing Day

_DOI4435_00033qqq-web750x1500U-300

Moody Monday, rain clouds threatening……  best get the washing in before that rain arrives.  If not, then you will have a dose of “Wash Day Blues” .

Rain does seem inevitable this spring. Nearly the end of May,  lets hope that summer will soon arrive,  bringing with it some more settled sunny weather.

Till then….

Its for You!

Well, if the call was for you, a boat may well be the best approach to this Phone Box.

Hiding beneath a Weeping Willow, this now defunct traditional Red Phone Box has been pressed into service as a Canal side Garden feature.  What is they say “waste not want not”….
