Wash Day Monday
A courtyard in the Fishing Village of Crail on the East Cost of Scotland, Fife
I think this image fits the ‘Odd Ball’ definition. It was one of several, what I call filler shots, to support the main images needed by the editor for his feature on this old Scottish fishing village. All the usual shots of a beautiful harbour, colourful boats, fisherman’s cottages plus important civic and historic buildings nor forgetting spacious shots placing the village in its location on the cliffs next the sea…..but it was this image that got the most feedback.

Your post reminds me of Amish Laundry by Awa on the Road. https://awawdrodze.wordpress.com/2016/01/19/amiszowe-pranie/ Funny, how in our days we are tickled by “old- fashionality” of laundry on the line 🙂 I like the jean’s blue corresponding with the reflection of the blue sky in the windows. Great photograph 🙂

I like the simplicity and homeyness of the shot, David.
