It will soon be no more….
The flower meadows are either at there very best, or in some cases now slipping away for another year. They will set their seed to re-appear next summer. If the weather is dry and favourable the meadows will be cut for another bumper crop of hay….I guess with all that rich herbage it will be a batch of hay much sought after.
So sad to see it go… but at least it will not be wasted

Morning, David. Buttercups are more or less poisonous, but clover is wonderful! White clover is very good for womens complaints. It helps there. Cows are usualle women… :). Red clover is very good for cleansing of the blood. Besides, you can eat the flowers. The whites ones are sweet. As are daisy’s. Nice tip for the grand kids: get some daisay’s, put a tiny bit of butter on top the flowers en sprinkle them with sugar (I prefer organic cane sugar) and stick them in the oven on low temperature for about 5 mins max! Keep oven door open. Get the daisy’s out en eat them. Nice, sweet and crunchy. And healthy – well, the flower anyway. 😀
