The Hosta season is upon us….thankfully they appear to hold their own against the heavy rains that we have had throughout June. Whilst we have many large blousy Hosta, it is this little Dwarf variety of Hosta, that always take my award for the best in the garden. Not only does it have as the name implies short stems and small leaves but they are also thin delicate stems carrying individual florets of equally delicate flower heads…..shear delight.
