Watendlath Beck below the Ashness Fells, Cumbria…..
Pause a moment to contemplate the bubbling waters..
A bridge may well be a means of crossing from one side to another…be it a road, gorge, river or as in this case a mountain stream high in the Lake District….but I have always found a bridge the ideal place to stop and examine the surrounds from different perspective…a change of viewpoint. Pause and spend a moment or two above these bubbling waters its good for the sole.

I like bridges. Some seem to have real character. Bridges were the idea behing our former government and their result was similar as in Britain: poor people got poorer. And bridges appear on our EURO banknotes as well. Even with these two negative uses of bridges I still love them. As bridges do have a good side too. Not just in the real world but as a meaning as well. And the last bridge is our crossing into the after live. 🙂

I’d be stopping on the bridge to enjoy the view too. Wonderful which way.
