It’s been Great Fun….
5 weeks exploring the Northern parts of Scotland a place we know well and always a joy to return. What made it extra special is that we caught some fantastic weather….true we had some gales and just a little rain but for the most part bright and sunny.Β That made this late summer very special and when we left there was only a very tiny hint that maybe autumn is on the way.
When we depart and headed north I posted an image of a view I hoped we would enjoy over the first few days of the trip.Β From Ledaig across Ardmucknish Bay to the Isle of Mull.

We were not to be disappointed and over the next 3 days we enjoyed an ever changing view where the sky constantly changed…hard to take ones eyes away from the vista.Β So here are a few images which I hope illustrate these skyscapes.

Even the early morning was as inspirational. Each day these were the views we enjoyed from our mobile home….we did eventually continue our journey, but with a degree of reluctance.
The tour has been both relaxing and exhausting all at the same time.Β Lots of places captured on camera…so a mammoth editing task ahead. So with luck I will try to bring you some highlights over the next few weeks.
Great to travel but also great to be back home…despite the deluge of mail and enquiries to deal with.

Looks FAB, David. Welcome back you all. I will pass the link on to a friend of mine who loves Scotland. Hopefully it will make her happy. I love the colour of the Willow Herb against the various blue colours. Looking forward to more, more, more…. π

Looks like an amazing place. Beautiful skies. Those pinkish flowers in the last shot, look like our Fireweed.

Wow, your trip sounds wonderful. My husband and I have actually contemplated renting a mobile home on our next visit to Scotland. Is that an experience you would recommend?

Yep….but don’t hire a BIG one if you are heading far north…single roads with passing places….. so make life easier for yourselves. Final tip….don’t rush just take your time π
