Monday mornings snow has now turned to Tuesday slush, rather dirty and grey. So I have spent the time keeping warm and sorting the file boxes. I sure am glad we had such a great day in the Peak District last week so I revisited some of those shots to to brighten up my day.
One shot I love is the lone Silver Birch tree nestling on the side of Howden Moor in Cranberry Clough in the shadow of Margery Hill. It was a striking silhouette against the blue evening sky….but perhaps the grey day has influenced me as I thought it might just look great as a monotone shot, so here you are…..
I suppose much depends upon your liking for Black and White images in todays colour packed world….but I thought it was rather nice so I went on to try some other shots taken further down the valley in the Pine and Larch woodlands…….
