No not an optical illusion but a bulge in this house wall. No apparent reason for it…. but the house has been standing for a couple of centuries and by all accounts has always enjoyed its distinctive bulge.
Cee’s Challenge this week is stone and bricks and my thought went back to a visit we made to Luneburg in Germany. The area is famous for clay and as a result bricks.
The old town is a testament to the Bricklayers art with some very creative buildings. It was also a very very wet day so the rain added shine to the stone cobles and the bricks…. a rather fabulous old town.

Perfect! Even if the bulge in the wall isn’t. 😉 I love brick structures and these do not disappoint.
