A Winter Glow…….

Our Orchids can always be relied upon for some colour over the winter months, they even add sunshine to sunny days, and right now they are starting to reach their very best…………..

Our Orchids live a cosseted life, fed and watered and kept away from drafts and the cold.  In our woods the trees now stripped bare, so I was a surprise to find this woodland shrub clinging onto its fading leaves for just a few more days.  I was also impressed with the vibrant colour as the low morning sun created an impressive glow…a glow that in its own way would match any Orchid…..

They certainly brightened my day.

  4. Beautiful David. I am envious of your Orchids. I have not been successful in growing them. Yours are gorgeous.

  6. What lovely pictures! I see so many photos and I think how easy it must be. But when I snap a few………I quickly discover it is not. I know it must take a lot a patience and many clicks to get just what you want.
