Best wishes to all on this Easter Sunday….. as I have been unable to bring you a host of Golden Daffodils for real this Easter, can I present you with this beautifully painted spray of Daffodils and spring foliage. It is from my collection of Victorian Greetings Cards, another from the house of Raphael Tuck and Sons. The publication date is a little unclear but safe to say between 1880 and 1895. A simple depiction of Spring that was used to convey Easter Blessings…..
To all of you everywhere…have a great Easter break and enjoy what ever it is you have planned and do.

Thank you, kind Sir! We have lots of daffodil shoots but no flowers yet. And you may be interested to learn that I may have spoken a wee bit too soon–we’re supposed to have more snow later today and sub-freezing temperatures again, but not for long. The old frosty fellow apparently isn’t ready to relinquish his grip on us quite yet, after all.
