After yesterdays brief taste of winter weather, today has swung back to autumn once again. True it is very much colder but with blue skies, sunshine and a clear horizon another perfect autumn day. The Silver Birch are now bare of leaf with their white bark glistening in the morning sun…. very stark against the now dead heather.
The Meteorological Office tell us it is only a very brief reprieve as winter snow showers are on the way…hard to believe on a day like today!

A wonderful black and white! I really like the depth in this photo, from the tree in the foreground that immediately grabs your attention, to the faint hills in far background, and everything in between! Beautiful!
