After a very bright and sunny start we headed for Stanton Moors for a walk that was always guaranteed to bring us lots of fresh air! By the time we headed back for home the weather had made a marked change.
From the now defunct Ordnance Survey Trig Point on the summit we could see that clouds and a change in weather was heading our way, the clear skies of this morning were soon to disappear leaving a threatening skyline and vista….still nice but not the end of the day we expected- but after all it is supposed to be winter!
