Weekly Photo Challenge: Object

The topic is Objects….well there are a million and one of those we come across everyday. So of all those I could select I nominate the Bench or Seat.  I stress not because my legs are weakening (and they are) but they give you a chance to stop and reflect on your surroundings, your blessings….let the world pass you by..  Nor is there a better place than a well placed bench in a garden.  That in turn gives me the chance on a dull February day to remind us all that Spring will soon be here.  Yes, a well placed seat amongst the fresh spring blooms will soon be a joy to enjoy once again……

  3. This photographer objects to the fact that seemingly all other photographers embrace only the simple meaning of the word–as a noun. Mayhap the real challenge is for someone to do a post on what he or she objects to. Is that too much to ask? BTW, what a welcome, fine flashback to spring! I might be tempted to follow suit if I weren’t about to forsake the winter here, get on a plane in ten days, and step out again in midsummer in the southern hemisphere for a belated Christmas celebration with the rest of the family. And I still have the reassurance that I’ll be back home again in time to savor spring when it really arrives here. Best of both worlds!

    1. Well as my family are constantly telling me that I am the original grumpy old man I guess that would be an ideal topic for me. Mind you I did just touch on the subject on Fridays post|
