Very unusually for our part of the world, winter has been so mild. No snow this year and only frost on a couple of days. But we did make up for that little bit of good fortune with more than the usual amount of rain. Despite that, hidden away in a corner of the garden, this Geranium has survived the winter and has burst into flower. Normally we wouldn’t even be dreaming of planting out a new seasons crop….but right now we are enjoying one of natures little miracles. We have a clock change tonight, we change to British Summer Time, so perhaps it is now safe to say “goodbye Winter …..hello Spring”

It’s beautiful, David. Coming week we expect temperatures between 15 and 20 degrees overhere… It’s amazing. Even when April still has a nasty surprise, I think we can safely assume that spring is here. But it makes me wonder about the summer.. Hope it will be as DRY as is good for the crops and as wet as well. Personally, I am more a moderate person when it´s about temperatures. Anything between 18 and 23 would suit me fine. 😀
Have fun in the garden and on your walks and please, would you pet Carla and BUster for me?
