March has been a very mild and at times a very warm month, so unlike the seasonal norm. Such a change from last year where we recorded record levels of snow and depth of cold….We are told that this year March has been the driest and warmest on record!
All month it has teased us with little ‘hints’ that Spring is on the way….its been fun. Even though the trees have yet to burst their buds, everywhere else the colour of Spring is bursting forth and our garden is sporting lots of colourful ‘hot spots’….
So ‘Goodbye’ March and thanks for the gift of a mild end to our winter.
31st March

I am in love with that yellow, dreamy Jonquil at the top, David! Spring has sprung!

Yes it has….though looking out the office window this morning I might just change my opinion!! But all the yellow makes up for a dull day

March 31st. The end of what I think is a critical month in the annual cycle. Overall it has been a kind month….but progress through to Spring slow. So what was March a year ago like. Well take a look and you can see we were just a little ahead in terms of Spring colours
