Hooray for Hosta

White-Hosta

A welcome summer visitor to our garden are the Hosta Flowers, the White are the first ones to bloom for us soon to be followed by some dwarf Blue plants.  I know they are not everyone’s favourite garden plant but for me (and  about 100, maybe a 1000, or even more snails and slugs that just love the leaves) they are bold and brassy and say that summers here.  If I can measure up to the challenge, and keep those snails and their friends at bay, then the succulent leaf display will add another verdant dimension to the flower borders.
